This page is a work in progress, as we (sadly) sell some of our horses and buy new ones. Keep checking back for updated information and photos. The information about the horses is current as of May, 2010. Once again, thanks!!! to Joe Pallas and Donna Murbach for the majority of our photos, here and elsewhere on this site.

Balou is a 13-year-old TBxQH, about 15.2 hands. He has competed through 2nd level and schools 3rd level quite well, but her prefers to help newbies learn the intro & training level ropes. While he knows how to help a cowgirl rope a cow, he prefers to catch a sugarcube.

Berry is a 10-year-old Quarter Horse, about 15.1 hands. He has competed at Intro and Training Level, with scores in the high 70s. He is currently working on 1st and 2nd level movements. He loves trails and treats.

Butters is an 11-year-old TBxQH, about 15.3 hands. He hasn't yet been to any "away" shows, but he loves to show off at home. His motto is "please bring children with carrots."

Chad was sold to Cristina, a long-time Seven Oaks student, in January of 2010. As a school horse, he competed through 2nd level with scores in the low 70s and schooled solidly at 3rd level. We are very happy to have such a fantastic duo stay with us!
Charlie is a 15-year-old QH pony. He loves children, trail rides, being in turnout and cantering. He has shown Intro and Training Level at "away" shows, but really shines at home.
Colin is a 16 hand, 5-year-old TB. He's also green, but very willing. Kay hopes to have him ready to show by the end of the summer.
Evan is a 15.3 hand QH, 6 years old. He's very quiet most of the time, with good potential for dressage. For now, we use him in lessons with our more advanced riders and school him ourselves.
Frankie is a 17.1 hand Oldenberg, 16 years old. He has shown through 4th Level with scores in the mid 60s and is a solid PSG schoolmaster. His favorite gait is the walk.
Jasper is a 14.1 hand grade pony, about 8 years old. He has competed through 2nd level with scores in the high 60s. He schools 3rd level pretty well, although he thinks that it's a lot of work. He loves to show off and the judges love him, as well.
Kevin is a 15 hand Welsh Cob, 8 years old. He is currently competing at 1st and 2nd level, with scores in the high 60s, and he is schooling 3rd level. He loves flying changes and medium canter, almost as much as he loves the trails.
Kindle is a 14.1 hand Welsh Cob cross, 8 years old. He is new to dressage and to us, but look for him this summer at local dressage shows.
Logan is a 14.2 hand, 9-year-old Welsh pony. He is new to dressage, but has lots of experience being sensible under saddle. We think that you'll love him as much as we do.
Nemo is a 15.2 hand, 6 year old paint. He's still a little bit "looky," but he seems to love the way we do things. He's the most submissive horse in any pasture, so we always bring him extra treats when we ride him.
Ponyboy is a 5-year-old Welsh cob gelding. He is 14 hands going on 17 hands. We have just started to trot him under saddle, only in short, straight lines, but with much enthusiasm on his part. If you want to ride him, you'll have to pry him from Pamela's hands.
Satchel is a QH pony, about 13 years old. He's about 14.2 hands. He showed Intro and Training Level in 2009, and got a 69% at his first show. We have MUCH better pictures of him, coming soon!
Stanley is an 9 year old, 14.2 hand Swedish WB pony. He came to us from the junior jumpers and seems to be enjoying the switch to dressage.
Stevie is a 16 year old, 15 hand QH, who came to us from a roping school. After baby-sitting Pamela through learning to rope a steer, he decided that the dressage world is much less stressful than the cow world. He prefers a belly scratch to almost anything else.
Wiley is a 17.1 Hannoverian, about 17 years old. He is trained to PSG, although his competition years are long gone. His trot and canter have enough "boing" to make lunge lessons on him truly a work-out.
